Moscow prepares for Celebration of 60th Victory day

On the Red square in Moscow the installation for the construction that will be the scenery for the celebration of the 60th anniversary of Victory day has started. On Victory day, celebrated on May 9th, the end of World War Two is commemorated.

The design of the construction, build in front of the façade of the Historical museum, will resemble large models of awards and medals, obtained during World War Two. The centrepiece is a huge video screen, framed by banners of several battalions that fought during the war. The total area of the construction takes up more than 1500 square metres, with a total length of 100 metres and an average height of 25 metres. Next to this huge construction, in which 12 Prolyft 2000kg hoist are used to rig the enormous video screen, the Prolyte MPT stage looks dwarfish.

JSA Company, responsible for the design and set up of the complete construction, as well as supplier of all technical equipment used, has specialised in the field of special constructions for large-scale outdoor events and celebrations. As Alexander Strizhak declared: “We have the official certification of the city council and the federal authorities in which the company is authorized to participate in this kind of events, a fact that makes us very proud, but also gives us full responsibility. The fact that the authorities trust our company in this respect makes us very much aware of our duty to build perfectly safe and reliable constructions. This is one of the main reasons why we only work with high quality products, which can guarantee optimum safety, such as Prolyte products and Layher systems”.
